How to insert SIM Card into iPhone 5s, iPhone 5v and iPhone
Apple’s iPhone has emerged as the world’s thinnest smartphone, measuring about 7.5mm thick. To make things even more interesting, the manufacturer has switched to a nano-SIM card, which is about 40 percent smaller than a micro-SIM. This means that you will not be able to use your normal micro-SIM on iPhone. Some people would imagine that chopping down their conventional SIM cards using a knife might work, but there is a substantial difference in the dimensions of a micro-SIM and nano-SIM. For instance, the thickness of a nano-SIM is reportedly 15 percent smaller.
A nano-SIM is comparatively safer than other SIM cards because it comes in a safe package that’s specifically designed for them. You can use this package to store your nano-SIM after use to protect it from damage. It is also important to mention that the package is environmentally friendly, and hence you can enjoy the latest technology without harming your surroundings. Also, the current SIM card designs take up a significant amount of valuable space inside a mobile, but with a nano-SIM card, more space can be available for additional features.
However, not everyone knows how to insert this type of a card into iPhone, but the following guidelines will surely help you.
Inserting Your SIM Card: into iPhone 5s, 5c and 5
Check the sides of your iPhone and find the phone’s SIM tray. Insert a straight paper clip or SIM removal tool in the phone’s packaging into a small hole besides the SIM tray, then push it gently until it pops-out.
Pull the SIM tray out with your fingers after ejecting it and place your nano-SIM card. Ensure that the SIM fits perfectly and its golden side is facing down.
Push iPhone’s SIM tray back, in the manner in which you ejected it. When the tray is successfully placed in its place, you will hear a click, and then wait for the phone to detect the SIM card.
